Fayetteville/Ellinger KCs Hosting Blood Drive Saturday

The Fayetteville/Ellinger Knights of Columbus are sponsoring the semiannual blood drive on Saturday, July 19 from 8-12:30 p.m. You can schedule a time by going to the website

giveblood.org.

Click on “Donate” with the Fayetteville zip code, 78940, and choose a time. You can also drop in. There is always a need for the Gift of Life. Every donation helps three people. The drive will be in the square in Fayetteville.

Dancing Under the Stars 

Dancing Under the Stars, an event hosted by Shared Lutheran Ministry and St. Paul Lutheran in La Grange is scheduled for July 26 at the Hermann Sons Life Hall in Rutersville. Dinner of fried chicken, sausage and trimmings will begin at 5 p.m., dine in preferred. The music by The Back Porch Boys will start at 6 p.m. Live and silent auction that evening and bring your own beverage and lawn chair.

Shared Lutheran Ministry 

Joint worship will be in Ellinger at St. John Lutheran on

Sept. 14 at 8 am.

Worship services are still offered on Facebook, You Tube and KTIM 89.1 on Sundays at noon. Ellinger has worship every Sunday at 8 a.m. with communion.

St. Mary’s Catholic Church St. Mary’s Catholic

Satur-Church mass is every Saturday at 4 p.m. and Sunday at 8 a.m.

Brethren Church 

Fayetteville Brethren Church has services the second, third, and fourth Saturdays of each month at 10 a.m. Other services are at Industry Brethren on the second, third and fourth Saturdays at 5 p.m., Wesley Brethren on Sundays at 9 a.m. and Nelsonville Brethren on Sundays at 10:15 a.m. Rev. Mike Groseclose leads all the services. The Nelsonville service is live streamed on Nelsonville Brethren’s Facebook page.
