Fayetteville City Council Update
A special meeting of the city council was called by council members on Monday, Feb. 7 concerning the repaving of Fayetteville streets by the county.
Our costs for the upcoming election would have been drastically reduced if the city council had voted in the meeting to participate with Fayette County in the joint election.
Note the new hours for our city offices: Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. If you need to make a water payment when the office is closed, there is a drop box by the front door of city hall.
The next city council meeting is Monday, Feb. 21 at 7 p.m.
If you choose to vote in the General Democrat and Republican Joint Primary Election on Tuesday, March 1, polling places and times are listed here: https://www.co.fayette.tx.us/upload/page/1737/2022/signed_ notice_of_election.pdf
