Fayette County Sheriff’s Office Reports June Arrests, Drug Seizure and 66 Jail Bookings
Sheriff’s Report

Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek reports activities of Fayette County Sheriff Deputies for the month of June 2026.

Deputy Abdiel Marroquin took a report for violation of a protective order. Deputy Marroquin also took a report for a dumpster fire in Cistern.

Deputy Wesly Arrison responded to the 500 block of Deer Loop in Clear Lake Pines for a disturbance. One suspect was arrested for assault. Deputy Arrison also responded to State Loop 92 near Monument Hill for a disturbance. One male suspect was arrested for assault.

Deputy Jose Mosqueda took a report for a found handgun. Deputy Mosqueda also assisted with a subject turning himself in on a felony warrant.

Deputy Noah Geer conducted a traffic stop on Interstate 10 for a traffic infraction. The vehicle was a dump truck towing a school bus. There was no valid registration on either vehicle. The vehicles were towed.

Deputy Jason Fowler was dispatched to a call reference terroristic threat on West Point Loop in West Point. A female was arrested. Deputy Fowler also was dispatched to Marty Road in reference to an intoxicated

Deputy Joe Gonzales took an inquest report on Grande Road near La Grange.

Sergeant Duane Meagher responded to a disturbance on Justice Road. The male was arrested and subsequently released to be admitted into the hospital. Sgt. Meagher also responded to a disturbance on FM 2237. A male subject was arrested for violating a protective order.

Deputy Herman Olvera responded to a residence on FM 2672 in reference to a disturbance. The parties were separated and a report was completed.

Deputy Cody Williams conducted a traffic stop on Interstate 10. During the stop, approximately 20.2 pounds of suspected methamphetamine were located. The occupants were arrested and charged accordingly.

Deputy Terry Guentert took a fraud report where a large sum of money was sent to a contractor but was never received.

Deputy Josh Jones responded to a disturbance on Airport Road. A male was arrested on an existing warrant. Deputy Jones also assisted on the terroristic threat call in West Point.

Sergeant Angela Lala worked a criminal trespass case, resulting in two warrants being issued on two separate suspects.

Sergeant Ron Naumann conducted a traffic stop on SH 159 near Fayetteville. During the stop, it was learned that a male subject in the vehicle was in violation of a protective order. The female in the vehicle was refusing to identify and was arrested.

Jail Administrator Brad Neville reports that Fayette County Correction Officers booked in 66 individuals for the month of June. Neville reports that the Jail Staff transported 11 individuals to Texas Department of Criminal Justice Facilities throughout the State to begin serving their sentences for crimes committed in Fayette County.
