Fayette County Permitting Office Reports on 2024 Activities
During 2024, Fayette County Floodplain Manager approved 242 Development Permits.
Of those 190 Residential (34 in Precinct 1, 58 in Precinct 2, 51 in Precinct 3, and
47 in Precinct 4), 38 Non-Residential (eight in Precinct 1, 13 in Precinct 2, 12 in Precinct
3, and five in Precinct 4) and
14 Oil and Gas (three in Precinct
1, six in Precinct 2, and five in Precinct 3) for a total of
$9,200.00.
The Permitting Office also took in five applications to Lay Temporary Water Lines in Right of Way Permits (one in Precinct 1, two in Precinct
2, and two in Precinct 3) for a total of $9,500 and six applications for Road Bore “Crossing” Permits (two in Precinct
2 and two in Precinct 3) for a total of $6,000.
