Fayette County 4-H Compete in San Antonio Livestock Show Commercial Steer Contest

Numerous Fayette County 4-H members competed in the San Antonio Livestock Show Commercial Steer Contest on Monday, Feb. 17 and Tuesday, Feb. 18.

Those competing include Adalyn Carrales, Joesph Carrales, Crockett Guenther, and Gage Smrkovsky. There were approximately 100 Commercial Steer Exhibitors.

Crockett placed 12th,Adalyn placed 39th, Gage placed 43rd, and Joseph placed 51st.

Gage was the Champion Rookie Speech winner.

The Commercial Steer Contest consists of Weigh, Ultrasound, and Live Evaluation of steers, Recordbook, Beef Science Test, and Public Speaking Presentation.
