Fayette Co. Fair Gives Back to Queen Contestant Sponsors

  • At the Fayette County Fair’s October membership meeting, President Mike Zuhn and Vice President Brandi Chovanec, presented checks to the non-profit organizations that sponsored the Queen contestants this past year. The fair awarded $7,072.50 to three organizations. These monies are in addition to the scholarships that the contestants earn. Francisco “Paco” Orona Memorial Scholarship, pictured above, represented by Yeli Cerda, received a donation of $3,241 on behalf of Queen Emireth Cerda.
