Farmers Lumber Company of La Grange recently made a generous donation of more than $10,000 worth of wood and construction materials to the La Grange High School Construction Trades Program. “This donation will make a major impact on the students in the Construction Trades class,” said new Construction Trades teacher Charles Otto. Students will use the lumber and supplies to build projects for local county shows. In addition, some of the donated materials will help students gain hands-on experience in key trades, including plumbing, electrical work, HVAC basics, and general construction skills.
