The Faison Preservation Society in conjunction with the Round Top Festival Institute announces a summer concert.

Four extraordinary piano students honing their craft at the Round Top Festival Institute will entertain the public at the N.W. Faison House on Sunday, June 15 from 2-3 p.m. The concert features an intimate recital of classical music performed on the house’s historic 1800s Knabe Square Grand Piano.

“These dedicated college students who have won multiple awards, will be presenting a showcase of virtuosic solo piano repertoire, from Beethoven to Liszt and more,” explained Arnold Romberg, President of the Faison Preservation Society. The talented young people are Celine Chen, a junior at University of Southern California where she studies piano and flute; Hao Ding, pursuing a Doctor of MusicalArts (DMA) degree in piano performance at the University of Utah; Joshua Lee, completing an undergraduate degree at Northwest University studying piano while tackling a premed track; and Jenna Salliman, a master’s student at Lynn University. More details of their awards and accolades can be found on the Faison House website at www.faisonhouse. org/events.

As an additional treat, concert goers will enjoy the renovated front rooms of the house.
