Ellinger Churches Making Impact on the Community With Their Efforts, Services

St. John Lutheran Donates to CASA 

St. John Lutheran in Ellinger tithed funds from the recent bake sale and hot dog fundraiser and made a donation to Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA).

Shared Lutheran Ministry 

Pastor Jen will be at St. John Lutheran on Sunday, June 14, along with Lay Leader Dawn Moore. Come hear Dawn’s story about God at work in her life. Next week, Annie Mueller will be the Lay Leader at worship in Ellinger, along with Pastor Bade. Worship is at 8 a.m. and all are welcome.

Worship services are still offered on Facebook, You Tube and KTIM 89.1 on Sundays at noon. Ellinger has worship every Sunday at 8 a.m. with communion.

St. Mary’s Catholic Church 

St. Mary’s Catholic Church mass is Sunday at 8 a.m.

Brethren Church 

Fayetteville Brethren Church has services the second, third, and fourth Saturdays of each month at 10:00 a.m. Other services are at Industry Brethren on the second, third and fourth Saturdays at 5 p.m., Wesley Brethren on Sundays at 9 a.m. and Nelsonville Brethren on Sundays at 10:15 a.m. Rev. Mike Groseclose leads all the services. The Nelsonville service is live streamed on Nelsonville Brethren’s Facebook page.

Ellinger C of C 

Bingo will be held at the chamber hall on June 14. Doors open at 11 a.m., kitchen opens at noon and games start at 1 p.m. Hamburgers, hot dogs, nachos, desserts and refreshments will be served. Since it is Flag Day, bring $10 in hygiene items, socks for veterans, or pay $10 to play an extra Guaranteed $500 Game. 100% goes to American Legion Post 602 in Shelby to support veterans in need.

Hermann Sons Life 

Ellinger Hermann Sons Life will meet on Monday, June 15, 2026 at 6 p.m at the Ellinger Fire Station. .

City of Ellinger 

The City of Ellinger will meet Thursday, June 25 at 6 p.m. at City Hall.
