Ellinger Chamber Next Bingo Event Oct. 26

The Ellinger Chamber of Commerce will host Bingo on Saturday, Oct. 26 and a Chicken Noodle Soup lunch on Sunday, Oct. 27, more details to follow.

Shared Lutheran Ministry St. John Lutheran in Ellinger is selling raffle tickets now in conjunction with their annual roast beef dinner. The dinner will be on Sunday, Oct. 13. Raffle tickets are $20 for one ticket or $50 for three. Only 1,000 tickets will be sold. There are 40 great prizes on the ticket. The drawing will be immediately after the drive through dinner. The roast beef and sausage plates are $15 and will be a drive through from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Advance tickets are encouraged and Peters BBQ will cater. Also, desserts will be available. The confirmation class will meet on Sunday, Oct. 13 at St. John in Rutersville from 3-4:30 p.m.

Worship services are still offered on Facebook, You Tube and KTIM 89.1 on Sundays at noon. Ellinger has worship every Sunday at 8 a.m. with communion.

Brethren Church 

Fayetteville Brethren Church has services the second, third, and fourth Saturdays of each month at 10 a.m. Other services are at Industry Brethren on the second, third and fourth Saturdays at 5 p.m., Wesley Brethren on Sundays at 9 a.m. and Nelsonville Brethren on Sundays at 10:15 a.m. Rev. Mike Groseclose leads all the services. The Nelsonville service is live streamed on Nelsonville Brethren’s Facebook page.

LGISD 

There will be no classes for LGISD on Oct. 14 and 15.
