Electrical Issue Believed To Be Cause of House Fire

Thursday morning around 3:33 am the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call reporting a structure fire on Meiners Rd. near Schuster Rd. The Round Top – Warrenton Fire Department was notified and responded to the scene. Mutual Aid was requested from the La Grange Fire Department who also responded to the scene. Fayette County Deputy Josh Jones, Fayette County EMS Medic Unit 2, and EMS 3 Supervisor also responded to the scene. Upon arrival it was reported a trailer house was fully engulfed and occupants were out of the structure. The fire was quickly contained and extinguished. The cause of the fire is believed to be electrical.
