Early Voting Stars Feb. 14; Municipal Filing Deadlines

The Republican and Democratic primary elections take place on Tuesday, March 1. Early voting begins next week.

Early voting for the primaries takes place at the Fayette County Elections Office at 275 Ellinger Road in La Grange. The early voting days include the following:

• Monday, Feb. 14, through Friday, Feb. 18 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.;

• Saturday, Feb. 19, from 9 a.m. to 4 pm.; and

• Tuesday, Feb. 22, through Friday, Feb. 25, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Elections for school board and municipal offices takes place on Saturday, May 7. Candidates for school board, city council or mayoral positions must file for a place on the ballot by next Friday, Feb. 18, at 5 p.m.
