Don’t Swim Naked – At Least Not Near a Road

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office arrested a West Point man for disorderly conduct after catching him swimming naked in a creek last month.

According to Investigator Ken Kretz, the Sheriff’s Office previously received several complaints from West Point residents about the man trespassing on private property. On Nov. 12, someone called again, reporting that the man was swimming naked in Criswell Creek. Kretz said deputies responded around 1:30 p.m. and were able to see the man naked from the road.

Deputies arrested the 28-year-old man from West Point for disorderly conduct. Kretz said deputies referred the man to Bluebonnet Trails Community Services for a mental health evaluation.
