The reason signs announcing road work are still up around town is because additional construction on SH 159 is set to begin again in the next few days. TxDOT explained this will involve all of SH 159 that falls within the Fayetteville city limits. The project, consisting of a mill and inlay to remove and replace the existing pavement, is estimated to be completed within three weeks once it has begun (weather permitting).
