DAR Chapter Announces March Flag Display Winners

The John Everett Chapter, DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution), and the Robert Rankin Chapter No. 62, SAR (Sons of the American Revolution) presented Zachary and Roxanne Zahradnik, 1208 Struss Lane, Columbus, with the American Flag Display Certificates for March 2025.

Zachary and Roxanne have three children, Luke, Calvin, and Emilie. Zachary works as an insurance agent for Farm Bureau in Columbus. Roxanne works for the Columbus ISD as the high school Agriculture- Horticulture teacher. Zachary had two grandfathers in WWII, one in the Pacific and one in the European theatre. Roxanne had an uncle in the Korean War. Both have grown up respecting and flying the American flag. They were involved in many school activities, FFA, Football, and other organizations that the American flag was important and developed an understanding and respect for the American Flag. Zachary said his one request on their honeymoon in New Orleans was to visit the WWII Museum.
