In the aftermath of the Czech President visiting Fayette County, local “royalty” is returning the favor.

Festival Hill Founder and Artistic Director, James Dick, was set to perform this Wednesday July 31, at the Garden House in Teplice, Czech Republic.

James Dick is the soloist in Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 23 A Major, K. 488 with the North Czech Philharmonic Teplice, led by conductor Charles Olivieri-Munroe, a longtime guest of Festival Hill.

Jimmy was invited by Olivieri- Munroe to play on their Summer Festival Concert Series, making this Jimmy’s third appearance at the Teplice Summer Festival.

This will also be James Dick’s third concerto performance with orchestra of the 2024 Summer season, the first two taking place here in Round Top with the Texas Festival Orchestra.

On March 8 there will be a solo recital by James Dick at Festival Hill, and then again for two more concerto performances in Summer 2025.
