Czech President To Visit La Grange

President Petr Pavel and First Lady Eva Pavlová of the Czech Republic (Czechia) will make a public appearance in La Grange on their historic visit to Texas. The President and First Lady will visit the Texas Czech Heritage and Cultural Center on Saturday, July 13. The public is invited to the Welcoming Ceremony outside, in front of the TCHCC Main Building from 9-11 a.m. to hear the President’s remarks and his show of dedication to the people of the Texas Czech community. The group will then receive a private tour of the TCHCC complex.

This historic visit will be the first to La Grange from a president of the Czech Republic and the first of any head of state since President Lyndon Johnson in 1969.
