Crops Tour Set June 27

The annual Crops Tour is an educational event for anyone who is interested in row crop production. The crop tour program will be held on Monday, June 27 at the Fayette County Agricultural Building, 255 Svoboda Ln. in La Grange. Registration is from 8:30-9 a.m. and will conclude about noon followed by a catered chicken fried steak lunch.

This year’s speakers will be Greg Baker, Matagorda County Extension Laws & Regulations; Dr. Josh McGinty, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service Agronomy Specialist; and Dr. Dalton Ludwick, Ph.D., Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service-Entomology. Three CEU’s will be offered (one each for Laws & Regulations, Integrated Pest Management, and General).
