Cow Calf Clinic, Trade Show Slated May 6

Fayette County beef cattle production continues to be a top performer in the state of Texas year in and year out. Annually, beef cattle producers face numerous challenges ranging from natural disasters to major market disruptions, like extreme increases in fertilizer and fuel. Therefore, the Fayette Beef Committee along with the Fayette County A&M AgriLife Extension Service work together and present timely and valuable best management practices to improve efficiency in beef cattle production.

On May 6 the annual Fayette County Cow/Calf Clinic and Trade Show is scheduled at the Fayette County Fairgrounds, 400 W. Fair Grounds Rd. in La Grange. Various businesses will be on site for the trade show and have pledged numerous donations for door prizes to those in attendance.

Three hours of CEUs (1 general, 1 IPM, and 1 Laws & Regs) will be provided for those with an applicators license.
