County May Be Headed for a Burn Ban

Fayette County might be headed for a burn ban this week.

At the commissioners court meeting Aug. 28, Emergency Management coordinator Angela Hahn presented information to the commissioners about the ongoing drought. In part of her materials presented at the meeting it stated, ‘We should probably start thinking about a burn ban and some point.”

On the agenda for this Thursday’s commissioners court meeting there is an item that states; “Discuss, consider and take appropriate action concerning Burn Ban.”
