Construction in Full Swing at Schulenburg Stadium

Construction was in full swing last week at David Husmann Memorial Stadium in Schulenburg. It’s the first phase of Schulenburg ISD’s $19.5 million bond package that voters approved in 2023, which also includes a performing arts center, band hall, security upgrades and additional athletic facility upgrades. The visitor’s side bleachers have been installed at the stadium, and foundation work for the home side stands were in place last week. The stadium will also include a new track.
