The ladies of Colorado Valley Quilt Guild were busy at the Randolph Center in La Grange on Tuesday piecing, cutting and sewing Charity Quilts.

This fiscal year, guild has already gifted 120 lap quilts to local Fayette and Colorado Counties. Nursing Facilities are gifted these in batches of 10 and are given on a rotating basis. Sometimes even retired members such as Jo Knox come in for a visit.

The Colorado Valley Quilt Guild meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at the Randolph Recreation Center, 653 East Pearl Street, Room A East, La Grange. Guild meetings begin at 6 p.m. on even months and 10 a.m. on odd months. Meetings are always open to the public, so grab a friend and come learn more about this wonderful service organization in La Grange.
