Cerda Crowned 2024 County Fair Queen
The 97th annual Fayette County Fair completed its fourday run Sunday as thousands of folks enjoyed the festivities amidst cooler than normal weather and lots of live music, headlined by Lonestar Saturday and Rick Trevino Sunday.
The fair kicked off on Thursday evening with the crowning of the new Royalty Court.
Combined season pass and carnival ticket sales came in at $121,055.
Though that total was down some from previous years, organizers said that was an impressive total for just five young ladies vying for Queen and Jr. Miss.
Emireth Cerda actually sold more than some queens in previous years, and was crowned the 2024 Fayette Co. Fair Queen representing the Francisco “Paco” Orona Scholarship and selling $32,410 in season passes.
1st Runner Up Queen Kaylee Soto representing Kyla Faith Memorial sold $25,575 in season passes and was awarded Most Photogenic Queen, Ms. Congeniality, Ms. Photogenic and Ms.
Beauty and Poise.
Emma Haynie representing the La Grange Optimist Club rounded out the three selling $12,740 in season passes earning 2nd Runner Up Queen.
Presley Lange was crowned the 2024 Fayette Co. Jr. Miss selling a record of $38,780 in carnival passes and winning Jr. Miss Congeniality as well. Crowned 1st runner up Jr. Miss and Jr. Miss Photogenic was A’Niah White.
Crowned 2024 Little Miss Fayette County was Hunter Denham followed by Collyns Schatte as 1st Runner Up Little Miss and Little Miss Photogenic. The Little Miss Personality was awarded to Kodi Calvert.
2024 Little Mister Fayette County was awarded to Carson Kovar who also earned Little Mister Photogenic and Little Mister Personality. Witten Graeter was chosen as 1st Runner Up Little Mister.
