Second Chance

New Life Methodist Church, 1215 N. Von Minden, La Grange, will have a Christmas Eve Candlelight Service on Tuesday, Dec. 24. LG KC Benefit

The La Grange Knights of Columbus Chromcik Council No. 2574 will hold a drivethru only fried chicken and sausage dinner benefitting local charities on Sunday, Jan. 12 from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the Community Center located at 190 Brown St. in La Grange. The meal will included fried chicken, sausage, sauerkraut, green beens and buttered potatoes for $15 per plate. First come, first served.

Holiday Hours

La Grange City offices will be closed Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025 in observance of New Year’s Day. The week of Dec. 30, through Jan. 3 is garbage week only. Waste Management will also have a holiday on Wednesday. Commercial customers scheduled on Wednesday will be picked up on Thursday. Residential and commercial customers with regular service on Thursday will slide to Friday. Residential and commercial customers with regular service on Friday will slide to Saturday.
