Camp Lone Star to Host Annual BBQ Auction and Fundraiser July 26
Camp Lone Star in La-Grange will have their Annual BBQ Auction and Fundraiser on Sunday, July 26.
The day will start with special music at 10:30 a.m. followed by an outdoor worship service at 11 a.m., barbecue meal at noon and the benefit auction from 1-3 p.m. The swimming pool will be open from 1-2:30 p.m.
Each year the camp served over 11,000 individuals through retreats, outdoor education and summer camps. They are looking for donations of quality auction items.
Summer Camp registration, including their day camp program, for campers age 5-18 is also open. Register at www.camplonestar.org.
St. Paul Lutheran School St. Paul Lutheran School in Serbin is accepting applications for all grades for the upcoming school year. Applications are available on their website at: www.stpaulserbinschool. org or in the office. Holy Cross Sewing Circle The Sewing Circle meets each Thursday from 9 a.m.noon in the old parish hall at Holy Cross in Warda. This is around the back side of the church. No experience is necessary and you do not have to be a church member to join this fun group. Contact the church office at (979) 2423333 if you have any questions. Game Day at Holy Cross The next Game Day at Holy Cross in Warda will be held Thursday July 16 from noon-2 p.m. A light lunch is served. There is no cost to attend and everyone is welcome. Games of bingo and dominoes are offered.
Serbin Jackrabbits
The Serbin Jackrabbits do not have a Sunday game this week, due to Father’s Day. Results of their last game: Serbin 13, New Ulm 10.

Central Texas Food Truck The Central Texas Food Truck will be at the Waldeck Lutheran church on Saturday, June 20 from 10-11 a.m. Drive through only and all are welcome. Volunteers are always appreciated.

Services at Holy Cross Lutheran are Sunday at 9 a.m. Bible Class and Sunday school follows the morning service.
