Burton Hosting First Ever City Wide Yard Sale Oct. 5

The Treasure Trail is coming soon with Burton’s first city wide yard sale. With cooler weather expected, October is the perfect time for a good olé fashion city wide yard sale.

Resident Tiffany Eckhardt envisioned a city wide yard sale, where people walked from house to house with wagons finding treasures from resident’s unwanted items. “It’s a win-win for everyone,” she believed. With the help of residents Lynda Zajicek and Barbie Gonzales, the idea came to life and will hopefully become a yearly event.

The Burton Treasure Trail, a city-wide yard sale will take place Saturday, Oct. 5 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Organizers suggest arriving early to find the best treasures.

The Treasure Trail will include homes and businesses in Burton and surrounding areas. A map will be provided to find all the participating homes.
