Bruno Road Speed Limit Lowered to 45
There was extensive discussion at the Aug. 28 commissioners court meeting about the lowering of the speed limit on Bruno Road in Pct. 4 near the High Hill/Freyburg area.
Three residents of the area went before the court to request that the speed limit be lowered to 35 miles per hour for the safety of the residents on the curvy road.
That area attracts a lot of out-of-towners because of the bed-and-breakfasts and a wedding venue in the area.
Commissioner Drew Brossmann said that upon his request, a sheriff’s deputy investigated the road, and the officer’s recommendation was to lower the limit to 45 miles per hour.
The court voted to lower the speed limit to 45 miles per hour
