Bridge Ministry Celebrates Donors, Invites Community to July 30 Event

Burton Bridge Ministry is pleased to share the top tier donors for this year’s fundraiser: Carmine State Bank, Citizen’s State Bank of Burton, and The Barn at Lacey Farms. Carmine State Bank and Citizens State Bank in Burton are loyal supporters of Burton Bridge Ministry.

Chris Coufal, President of Carmine State Bank, commented “It is a privilege to support the Annual Fundraiser of the Bridge Ministry of Burton Texas. The Bridge Ministry is serving a need in our area and supports many households. They are led by dedicated volunteers and partner churches. Carmine State Bank supports many non-profits in our area, and we are excited to continue contributing to the important works of the Bridge Ministry.”

Citizens State Bank is particularly committed to Burton Bridge Ministry’s annual Community Thanksgiving Meal. This event is one of the many reasons that Citizens State Bank is honored to support the mission of Burton Bridge Ministry. A spokesperson for Citizens commented that “giving back to the communities we serve has always been at the heart of who we are, and we are grateful for the opportunity to partner with organizations that make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.”

Our new sponsor, The Barn at Lacey Farms, is donating the use of its beautiful venue located just outside of Burton.

The community is invited to an evening of great food, live music, and fellowship at its 5th Annual Fundraiser, “From Sea to Shining Sea,” on Thursday, July 30, at The Barn at Lacey Farms, 4504 FM 390 W (Longpoint), Burton.

Doors open at 5 p.m., dinner will be served at 6 p.m., and the live concert begins at 7 p.m. Seating is limited so advance ticket purchase is requested.

This year’s event celebrates the 250th anniversary of the United States with a musical journey across America. Guests will enjoy country favorites that highlight beloved places and memories from coast to coast, performed by Allison Crowson and the House Tribute Band, featuring special guest Bill Mock.

Tickets are $35 per person and include a delicious dinner of chicken spaghetti, fresh salad, and bread, along with the evening’s entertainment.

Proceeds from the fundraiser directly support the mission of Burton Bridge Ministry, helping provide vital programs and services for children, senior citizens, and families experiencing food insecurity throughout the community.

Fundraiser tickets may be purchased online at burtonbridgeministry. org, texting Allison at White Horse Tavern at (979) 277-5768, in-person at The Corner Shoppe and the Burton Bridge Ministry office, 307 N. Brazos, Burton.
