Bomb Threat Draws Large Response Near Ammannsville
A large contingent of law enforcement, fire and EMS personnel responded to a bomb threat near Ammannsville Monday afternoon, Dec. 30.
“There was a call regarding a possible bomb in a safe,” said Fayette County Emergency Management Coordinator Angela Hahn. Hahn said Department of Public Safety and the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office responded to the call. Fayette County EMS and La Grange Volunteer Fire Department were also called to stand by at the scene.
The Sheriff’s Office had not responded to our inquiries over the New Year holiday. Officials from EMS and the La Grange Fire Department declined to comment on the case, citing their belief that a law enforcement investigation was underway.
