Bluebonnet Master Gardener Lunch And Learn Series Continues Tuesday
The Bluebonnet Master Gardener Lunch-N-Learn educational program is a series of nine informational meetings designed to provide gardening or general landscaping information for homeowners. Fayette County Master Gardeners plan and present a variety of programs from experts in the area and across the state.
This series is designed with the homeowner in mind; bring your lunch and learn about a variety of topics that help you have a more productive garden, prettier flower beds, or how to better understand your landscape ecosystems.
The topic this month, “Cooking Up the Harvest,” is scheduled for Tuesday, May 13 and the guest speaker is County Extension Agent Sally Garrett. Preparing delicious, creative meals with fresh vegetables and pantry staples can be simple, fun and rewarding. Take control of your kitchen, health and budget and cook with what you have.
Registration is from 11:50 a.m. - 12:05 p.m. and the program lasts till 12:50 p.m. The Lunch-N-Learn Series are held at the Fayette County Agricultural Building, 255 Svoboda Lane in La Grange. All Master Gardener Lunch-N-Learn programs are free to the public and you are encouraged to bring your own lunch and drink. Light refreshments are available by Master Gardener hospitality hosts.
