William and Kaci Bruns of Lufkin announce the birth of their daughter, Hallie Kate Bruns, born at 10:01 a.m. Monday, May 12, 2025 at Nacogdoches Medical Center in Nacogdoches. She weighed 6 lbs. 5 oz. and was 19 inches long.

Grandparents are Joey and Susan Waggonner of Lufkin, and for the fourth time Shawn and Shawna Bruns of Flatonia.

Maternal great-grandparents are Jany Dempsey and the late Jack Dempsey, Charles and Ann Colwell, and Doris Farrell and the late Ken Waggonner, all of Lufkin.

Paternal great-grandparents for the ninth time are Douglas and Sandra Mica of Flatonia, for the fourth time Harvey and Gloria Oeding of La Grange, and the late Nolan Bruns, Jr. of Schulenburg.
