The Fayette County Beekeepers Association (FaycoBeeks) will be hosting its next club business meeting and annual Christmas Party on Saturday, Dec. 7. This event will be held at Rohan Meadery, 6002 FM 2981, La Grange. The Beekeeping 101 session, “Exploring Honey Flavors” will be held from 4:30-5:30 p.m. This interactive session will explore the diverse flavors, aromas, and textures of various Texas honeys. After the session, join us for a short business meeting and officer elections. Following the business meeting we will have our annual Christmas Party including a bee-themed White Elephant Gift Exchange. It’s a fun way to celebrate the season and share the joy of beekeeping with other enthusiasts. This gathering is a fantastic opportunity for new beekeepers to connect with experienced members, who are happy to serve as mentors and offer guidance. FaycoBeeks encourages all beekeepers and their families to attend. Members and non-members are warmly welcome. Membership dues for 2025 are $25 per year and cover both individuals and families. The association meets on the first Saturday of each month and is dedicated to supporting local beekeepers through education and community. For more information, visit faycobeeks.org.
