Bastrop Co. Health Fair this Saturday

The 3rd Annual Bastrop County Health Fair, hosted by the Bastrop Chamber of Commerce, returns on Saturday, Aug. 9, offering free health screenings, CPR certification, community wellness resources, and family-friendly fun for all ages.

This year’s fair features a PHI Air Medical helicopter fly-in, The Big Pink Bus mobile mammography unit, We Are Blood donation station, free child I.D. fingerprinting kits, a mascot parade at 1 p.m., and a variety of food trucks from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Bastrop Convention & Exhibit Center, 1408 Chestnut Street, Bastrop.

The health fair promotes preventive care, healthy lifestyles, and access to local health services, with free screenings, certified CPR training, educational workshops and interactive programming for residents of all ages. It also connects residents with vital community resources in a fun, interactive format.
