ArtWalk Poised to Bring a Weekend of Fine Art & Family Fun to Fayetteville
Arts for Rural Texas’ annual ArtWalk returns to Fayetteville’s town square Saturday, May 2 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., and Sunday, May 3, from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Voted “Best Cultural Event” in 2025 by the readers of the Fayette County Record, this fine art festival, free to the public, is a must-attend event for art enthusiasts, collectors, and families.
This year’s ArtWalk boasts more artists than ever before, with 67 local and statewide artists showcasing their work across all media, including painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, ceramics, fiber, and more. Visitors can vote for the People’s Choice Award, selecting their favorite artists to receive awards and prizes.
ArtWalk offers more than just fine art. Young artists can stop by the Children’s Tent for a variety of hands-on activities, make-and-take crafts, and face painting. The festival also features live music performances throughout the weekend: Saturday, May 2:
• 10 a.m. - Children’s Boy Choir • 11:30 a.m. - Kelsi Machacek

Sunday, May 3:

Grab a coffee from Frontier Rodeo Coffee, a bite to eat from Murphy’s Steakhouse or Texas Chili, and a sweet treat from Cakes by Joan. Shop the art while sipping on a margarita from Mason Jar of La Grange, or a glass of wine from Busted Oak Cellars or Blue Mule Winery.
