Animal Shelter Appreciates Any Monetary Donations

As of March 21, the total intake at the Gardenia E. Janssen Animal Shelter for 2025 is 315: 165 dogs and 150 cats in need. There are 68 animals in our care: 48 dogs and 20 cats. This number includes animals in the facility, in foster care for medical, waiting on available space, or awaiting transport to a rescue partner.

The shelter offers a discount voucher program to the citizens of Fayette County for the spay or neuter of family pets and a microchip special for Fayette County pets. Call (979) 9660021 for information.
