American Legion Quade-Werchan Presents Scholarship to Salinas

At the 2022 Round Top-Carmine High School Academic Banquet held on Tuesday, May 10, American Legion Quade-Werchan Post No. 338 presented their annual Essay Scholarship to Ilse Salinas. Salinas submitted the most outstanding essay on a subject chosen by the post related to the U. S. Constitution. She was awarded a scholarship in the amount of $500 and also presented a commemorative pin from the American Legion. Ilse is the daughter of Secundino and Luciana Salinas.
