American Legion Patriotic Presentation at St. Rose

During Catholic Schools Week on Wednesday, Nation Day, Mr. Kenneth Berger and several American Legion members gave a Patriotic Presentation to St. Rose of Lima Catholic School students. They explained about the American Legion organization and what they do. Next, some of the members demonstrated each precise fold of the American Flag as Mr. Berger described the meaning to the students. It was done so respectfully and beautiful the gym was silent. The final part was each legion member taking turns sharing their own story of military service which covered multiple branches of the military. St. Rose appreciates and thanks the American Legion for a wonderful presentation. Appreciation to Mrs. Barbara Brown, a St. Rose alumni, who along with her husband shared experiences. It was an impressive and engaging experience for both students and teachers.
