Judy Benjamin is walking 3,000 miles across America sharing the message of hope that cognitive decline can be prevented and reversed. She came through Fayette County last week, via Winchester, on her way from San Diego to San Augustine. Benjamin was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s at the age of 67, following her mother’s passing after a 20-year struggle with the same disease. After receiving her diagnosis, Judy made major adjustments to her diet and lifestyle. This journey led her to a fortuitous meeting with Dr. Dale Bredesen, ultimately becoming his “patient zero” as she adopted his groundbreaking, clinically validated protocol for treating and preventing cognitive decline.
