AI Data Center Trying to Find a Spot in Rural Fayette County

The Swiss Alp/Ammannsville area continues to be the target of developers. A year after a failed wind turbine project in the area, landowners are now reporting that a company has been contacting landowners in those areas trying to piece together a 500 acre area to build an Artificial Intelligence Data Center.

These sort of facilities are sprouting up in Texas with the rise of AI, but not without problems like water use, noise and strain on the power grid.
