Pictured are two of over 100 kittens the animal shelter has in it’s care right now. Leftie is a 6-week-old tortoise shell kitten. The ginger kitten is Tangerine, also 6 weeks. Both kittens are females! If you are looking to add a kitten to your family, please consider adopting. Sure, you can find free kittens, but proper care for them will cost more than our adoption fee. For $75 the kitten will be wormed, have age-appropriate vaccines, a microchip and be spayed/neutered! Plus, you are saving a life! Choose to adopt! Tell your friends! Also, ask about our BARN CAT program!

• Visit the shelter at 240 Svoboda Lane and adopt animals on Tuesday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The shelter is closed on Monday. The animal shelter will not accept surrendered animals on Saturdays.

The animal shelter is in need of puppy chow, kitten chow, dog and cat food, paper towels, candles, Pine Sol, and Lysol.
