2nd Annual Treasure Trail Returns to Burton
Back by popular demand, the Treasure Trail, Burton’s city-wide yard sale, is returning for its second year on Saturday, Oct. 4, from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Last year’s event brought the community together for a fun-filled day of treasure hunting, and this year promises to be even bigger and better.
The Treasure Trail was first envisioned by Burton resident Tiffany Eckhardt, who dreamed of neighbors strolling from house to house with wagons, discovering unique finds among the community’s unwanted items. With the help of residents Lynda Zajicek of Peacock Perch and Barbee Gonzales of Bluebonnet Leather, the dream became a reality – and a new annual tradition was born.
“It’s such a fun way for neighbors to connect while giving folks the chance to find hidden treasures,” said Eckhardt. “We’re thrilled to see it growing in its second year.”
This year’s event will feature homes and businesses throughout Burton and surrounding areas, offering everything from antiques and collectibles to household items and handmade goods. Visitors can pick up a map of participating locations to plan their trip. Organizers recommend arriving early to score the best finds.
