2024 in Review From the Veterans Service Office

The Fayette County Veterans Service Officer Jesse Lednicky reports that his office continues to assist Veterans, their spouses, spouses of deceased Veterans and other families with claim assistance with the Veterans Administration.

The office completed numerous successful claim increases this past year as well as assisting with grave markers and medallions for deceased veterans and records request from NARA and the County Clerk’s Office. The office maintained accreditation through the TVC to better serve our local veterans. The office continues to work with the Salvation Army to ensure funds are available to veterans in need as well as the needs of other county residents in need of emergency assistance.
