2024 Fayette County Farm Bureau Ag Day

Tuesday more than 300 fourth graders from all the elementary schools in Fayette County descended on the fairgrounds for the annual Fayette County Farm Bureau Ag Day.

The kids and their teachers rotated around the grounds to a number of different stations where they learned about everything from cattle, to grains to local wildlife.

They got to hold baby chicks and pet snakes and plant seeds and try their hand at roping. A huge army of volunteers made the educational opportunity possible.
