To the Editor: As I reflect on what the Christmas season means to me, I realize that Christmas is a time of joyful giving and service to others. The advent wreath stresses love, joy, peace, and hope that brings us to the birth of Christ our Savior.

Something Strange

To the Editor: I have been a supporter of Mike Pence from the very beginning of his days as Vice President. Some personal friends of mine that know Pence personally vouch for his character and personal Godly relationship.

In the early 1970s, the price was $18 for the first five miles and 45¢ a mile one-way. That was a bargain compared to Texas cities where charges ranged $25 to $35 and up for the first call and 45¢ to a $1 per mile.

Resolve to Help in 2023

As this year draws to a close everyone’s thinking about their NewYear’s resolutions. How am I going to be better in 2023?
