RTC Defeats Fayetteville in District Girls Hoops

The Round Top-Carmine girls basketball team beat Fayetteville Tuesday 54-39 led by a 23-point night from Tess Eilers.

Jill Eilers added 15 points for the Cubettes, who improved to 3-2 overall and 1-1 in district with the victory.

Fayetteville was led by Maycee Miller, who scored 15 and Paige Jurecka, who scored eight.

The Lady Lions fell to 1-11 overall and 0-1 in district with the loss.
