Farmers and ranchers typically know the things they need to do, but there is something about putting it on paper and resolving to do it that is completely out of line with how they think. I personally think if something needs to be done; it’s a good idea to do it as soon as possible. That way it doesn’t become a long-term problem.You see what I mean?

The Fayette County Country Music Club will host a Polka Show on Monday, Jan. 16, 2023 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in La Grange. The show starts at 7 p.m. and the doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Admission is $8.

The 2023 Turtle Wing Toast will be held Thursday, Jan. 26 at Sengelmann Hall in Schulenburg. The annual “Toast” is a celebration, with the goal of “remembering, rejoicing, and renewing” all of the accomplishments of the foundation.

The AMEN Food Pantry board and volunteers appreciates the community for all the support given to the pantry. The food needs were great, however with donations of food and monetary, the pantry met the needs of food. As the pantry moves forward in 2023 the need is there for food and monetary donations.
