La Grange Police Respond to Theft Reports

Police Report

La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of Dec. 25 through Jan. 1.

Theft

On Dec. 26, Officer Justin Koehne took a theft report in the 1900 block of W. State Hwy 71 business and issued suspect a citation.

On Dec. 26, Koehne spoke with a caller in the 800 block of E. Travis about missing items.

On Dec. 28, Keeney spoke with a caller about a theft in the 500 block of W. Lowerline.

On Dec. 31, Maxwell was dispatched to the 1900 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business in regards to subject that changed price tags on items. Subject was arrested.

Accident

On Dec. 26, Maxwell was dispatched to the 300 block of E. Cedar in regard to a two-vehicle accident.

On Dec. 28, Officer Thomas Keeney was dispatched to the intersection of N. Franklin and E. Colorado for an accident.

On Dec. 30, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 700 block of S. Main for a twovehicle accident.

Animal Complaint

On Dec. 29, Sgt. Travis Anderson received a call for three stray dogs in the area of Hwy 77 and FM 2145.

On Dec. 31, Maxwell spoke to a caller in the 800 block of N. Madison in regard to an animal complaint.

Burglary of Vehicle

On Dec. 27, Officer Curtis Zwahr spoke with subject in regard to items being taken from within their vehicle in the 200 block of S. Water. On Dec. 28, Anderson responded to the 500 W. Lowerline in regards to a burglary of a motor vehicle. On Dec. 29, Keeney responded to the 700 block of E. Camp in regard to a vehicle burglary.

On Dec. 29, Zwahr took information in regard to a burglary of motor vehicle in the 1700 block of Old Plum Highway.

Agency Assist

On Dec. 28, Officer Kevin Currington assisted with fire department subject stuck on a roof in the 900 block of E. Lafayette.

On Dec. 30, Officer Mitchell Maxwell was dispatched to the 1600 block of N. Jefferson in regard to agency assist.

On Dec. 31, Maxwell was dispatched to contact agency in regard to a vehicle that was recovered. Burglary of Habitation

On Dec. 30, Zwahr took information in regard to a burglary in the 300 block of Fireside.

Curfew Violation

On Dec. 30, Currington issued curfew violations in the 200 block of S. Franklin.

Citizen Assist

On Dec. 26, Maxwell contacted a subject in regard to a

citizen assist. On Dec. 26, Koehne responded to the 900 block of N. Franklin in reference to a water leak. Water was turned off.

On Dec. 30, Haynie was dispatched to the 500 block of S. Main in regard to a citizen assist.

On Dec. 30, Haynie was dispatched to the 900 block of Mode Ln. in regard to citizen assist.

Disturbance

On Dec. 26, Haynie was dispatched to the 700 block of W. Colorado in regard to a disturbance.

On Dec. 31, Haynie was dispatched to the 600 block of E. Eblin in regard to disorderly conduct.

On Dec. 31, Hayie was dispatched to the 1000 block of S. Madison in regard to disorderly conduct.

Gunshots

On Dec. 27, Maxwell was dispatched to the 500 block of S. Franklin in regard to possible gunshots.

On Dec. 30, Haynie was dispatched to the 1900 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business in regard to sounds of gunshots heard in the area.

Harassment

On Dec. 28, Anderson spoke with complainant in regard to possible harassment in the 2000 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business.

Sexual Assault

On Dec. 26, Haynie was dispatched to the 1000 block of Hwy.159 in regard to a sexual assault.

Suspicious Person/Vehicle

On Dec. 25, Currington was dispatched to the 400 block of S. Main for a suspicious person.

On Dec. 26, Haynie was dispatched to the 200 block of W. Pearl in regard to suspicious person.

On Dec. 26, Koehne checked the area in the 100 block of College Circle for a suspicious vehicle.

On Dec. 26, Koehne spoke with a subject in the 100 block of E. Colorado that was charging her phone.

On Dec. 29, Currington checked on a subject in the doorway of a vehicle in the 900 block of N. Horton.

On Dec. 30, Maxwell checked out a suspicious vehicle in the 300 block of Diers Lane.

Stolen Vehicle

On Dec. 26, Officer John Wostarek was dispatched to the 700 block of E. Travis in regard to a stolen vehicle.

Welfare Check

On Dec. 25, Keney responded to the 400 block of N. Main in response to a welfare check.

On Dec. 27, Koehne checked on a subject who was walking in the 200 block of S. Ellinger.

Warrant Arrest

On Dec. 30, Maxwell conducted a traffic stop in the 200 lock of N. Water and the driver was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

On Dec. 30, Koehne arrested a subject in the 1900 block of W. State Hwy. 71 business.

Miscellaneous

On Dec. 26, Maxwell was dispatched to the 100 block of E. Milam in regard to loud music.

On Dec. 26, Haynie was dispatched to the 2500 block of N. Hwy. 77 in regard to a motorist assist.

On Dec. 27, Zwahr took information regarding a scam in the 700 bock of E. Upperline.
