KJZT Family Life Society No. 31 Meets

On Feb. 20, the first quarterly meeting of KJZT Family Life, Society No. 31 St. Frances of Rome of La Grange was held at 4 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Church Narthex meeting room. President Elizabeth Kallus called the meeting to order and led opening prayers including a Presidents Day prayer, and pledges to the U.S. and Texas flags.

Kolkhorst Files Series of Bills to End Covid Mandates

Senator Lois W. Kolkhorst (R-Brenham) has filed Senate Bills 1024, 1025, and 1026 to end and reform former COVID- 19 restrictions. In Governor Greg Abbott’s State of the State Address, the governor declared prohibition of COVID mandates an emergency issue for the Texas Legislature.

F Fayetteville ISD is celebrating National FFA Week by asking students to dress in certain colors throughout the week. Fourth and fifth graders want to give a huge shout out to Mrs.

Shared Lutheran Ministry Council Retreat Saturday

The first Lenten Wednesday worship will be in Warrenton with Pastor Stephanie Stark on March 1. A soup supper will be served at 6 p.m. with worship at 7 p.m. The offering will go to Lutherhill’s new dining hall campaign. All are welcome.
