Kulaks Enjoy Baby Shower, Boehnke Welcomes Great Granddaughter

Dana and Darrell Kulak traveled to the Fort Worth area for a baby shower for Miko and Elton Kulak who are expecting Dana and Darrell’s first grandbaby in April. It was a beautiful shower and everybody got to decorate a bib for little “bean.” They had a fun game of having the guys all do “bottles up” and drink a baby bottle of apple juice. Fun was had by all especially the ladies getting to watch.

Tri-County Ministry Holy Week And Easter Celebration Schedule

Congregations of the Tri-County Cooperative Ministries, ELCA will observe Holy Week and the Easter Celebration will soon be here. Palm Sunday will have us remembering that day when Jesus enters Jerusalem with the waving of palm branches and hearing shouts by the crowds “Hosanna, blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.” We will gather for Maundy Thursday services, celebrating the Sacrament and remembering that night when Jesus gathered with His disciples and instituting the Lord’s Supper. And then Good Friday, when people of faith recall the great suffering Jesus endured and the death that came on the cross. And our Jesus goes to that cross for our salvation. He gives His all out of His love for all of us.

Second Chance Stories

Joy Moore is a young woman who knows what she likes. So when the La Grange High School sophomore found two just-right blouses — one black, the other pink — she was “excited.” It was Friday and Moore was at Second Chance Emporium, the non-profit resale shop in La Grange.
