Kubala Places at Houston, SA

Grant Kubala a student at Schulenburg High School placed 3rd in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Junior Commercial Steer Feeding and Management Contest. Grant was awarded $5,000 and an 11 inch touch screen tablet PC with accessories. The Junior Commercial Steer Feeding & Management Contest is to encourage more 4-H and FFA members to participate in a practical beef production program. This contest heavily emphasizes feeding and management financial costs and exhibitors should have a firm understanding of the economics associated with the beef cattle industry. Grant Kubala placed 5th overall in the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Commercial Steer Contest. Grant was also awarded 1st place in the Beef Science Test.
